WHATSAPP WEOPINIZED TODAY!!

It becomes very difficult when you realize that you are addicted to something, also simultaneously realizing that you are already too late. Let me ask a question. Can you imagine a month of your life without Whatsapp? your instant reply to this would begin with a scoff and then you would go saying "of course. that is not difficult" but I would tell you to try start following the same for a week, then we will talk.
With the advent of social media into the day to day world, Whatsapp has taken a significant amount of population into storm, "addiction" as i would say. People have become addicted to social networking brands like Whatsapp without even realizing. Whatsapp, which was designed with concept of keeping communication with closed ones and  for business interactions has become a weapon today.
Whatsapp has 1.5 billion people active users as of December 2017. In order to stay connected to the people on WhatsApp , people have lost their touch from the real world. A human being's consent is not considered before he or she is added in a WhatsApp group, which is scary if you really put your brains into thinking. Do you realize that if a person dials a ten digit random yet valid number, adds the contact In a particular group,he or she would be part of an agenda not known to the person? It is similar to an act to a terrorism, "Cyber terrorism" as I would say.
Whatsapp has also become a caterer of rumours and fake news. A 2018 report at the Reuters Institute in the University of Oxford states that Whatsapp has become a dominant platform of spreading fake news, especially across Latin America and Asia.People are misguided and exploited mentally by the messages on WhatsApp sometimes. I'm sure even you might have experienced the same. Forward messages saying "share with 100 people for good luck" , or "switch off your cellphones tonight because the radiation tonight might kill you". People , especially the older generation believe into such things only to be falsified and mislead.
Is Whatsapp minacious, habile, or capable enough of taking a human life? To the readers out there asking this question,I would answer your question with a counter question. Ever heard of the game that metastasized over on WhatsApp called “The Blue Whale” or “The Blue Whale  Challenge”? I'm sure you have heard about it. Statistics show that there have been cases of 130 suicides in a time span beginning from November 2015 to April 2016, in Russia alone. As a result of several suicide cases in India, the Government of India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology requested several internet companies including Whatsapp, Google, Facebook, and Yahoo to remove all links which direct users to the game, and bonus added suicide is the second most common cause of death in India according to a 2012 report. These life threatening games couldn't even be banned even with the order from the Supreme Court since it is not an application but a series of text messages.
"Whatsapp is to be handled very carefully. In the wrong hands, it could terrorize a community and since it is open to anyone and everyone the risk just elevates more."
